The winners of Scottish EDGE Round 12 have been announced with stem cell research business, Cytochroma taking home the Higgs EDGE Science and Technology Special Award.
Each of the winners will take home up to a six-figure share of the £1million prize pot and will receive an all-encompassing package of support from Scottish EDGE’s partner organisations to help them fast-track and grow their business.
Scottish EDGE has announced a new venue for its latest round’s finalists, taking the UK’s largest business funding competition out of its Edinburgh home for the first time since its inception in 2013.
Scottish EDGE, Scotland’s leading competition to identify and support the nation’s most promising entrepreneurial talent, has once again joined forces with Creative Scotland and Cultural Enterprise Office to encourage applications from the creative sector via the Creative EDGE special award.
The Creative EDGE Award is a prize of up to £100,000 – 60% loan and 40% grant – which will be presented to the top creative business idea to enter in Round 12 of
the Scottish EDGE competition.
On the hunt for Scotland’s most innovative entrepreneurs, Scottish EDGE, the UK’s largest business funding competition, launches its next round today. Applications to Scottish EDGE Round 12 will be accepted through the competition
online portal until 7th March, 2018 at 2pm, requiring a completed application and a short video pitch.
