Our boots were made for Kiltwalking!

We're channelling our inner Proclaimer and walking 500 miles (well, it's actually 23 miles, but we're sure it'll feel like 500!) for the Glasgow Kiltwalk.

In the past few years as part of our giving something back ethos, the Scottish EDGE Team have spent the night sleeping rough in -7c for Sleep in the Park and donned our Santa suits to participate in the Santa Dash, and for 2020 we have decided to go for a walk – or rather a Mighty Stride!

On Sunday 26th April 2020, Team EDGE have decided to don our kilts and put ourselves (but mostly our feet) through the pain barrier by undertaking “The Mighty Stride” at the Glasgow Kiltwalk, which will see the team walk 23 miles from Hampden Park to Loch Lomond, all in aid of the STV Appeal.

In just nine years the STV Appeal has managed to raise over £21 million, allowing them to make 1102 big and small awards across all 32 local authority areas in Scotland, providing much needed support to over 79,000 children.  Every penny really does make a difference and we would be extremely grateful if you could donate a small amount to help our fundraising challenge, and in turn play a part in making a real difference to the one in four children and young people in Scotland who currently live in poverty.
