Having received 701 of the 1,637 votes cast from 27 countries around the world, we are thrilled to announce that Sonik Pocket have won our Wild Card EDGE public vote!
Sonik Pocket, founded by Usman Yaseen, is an innovative, multiple revenue generating online education and shopping platform for children that supports financial learning, in a fun, safe and secure environment. Adults deposit funds and children complete household/educational tasks to ‘unlock’ pocket money with gamification and educational theory – teaching money management along the way.
The winning business will now be given the opportunity to pitch for additional funding at the Scottish EDGE final on June 22nd, 2017.
