Nonetheless, it is with great pleasure that we are able to announce the twelve round nine Young EDGE winners, each of whom will receive grant funding of up to £10,000 from the £100,000 allocated prize pot for the category. In addition, the winning businesses will receive a comprehensive non-financial business support package, which is provided by our various partner organisations.
The winners of the Young EDGE competition were informed of their success today, however, the exact amount allocated to each business will not be revealed until the Scottish EDGE Round 9 final, to be held at the Royal Bank of Scotland’s Gogarburn campus on Thursday, Dec 15th, 2016 (free tickets available here).

The Hebridean Food Company: Create luxury foods using only ingredients from the Hebrides.
Designed to support Scotland’s youngest entrepreneurs, the Young EDGE competition is the result of our recognition that growing a business can be particularly challenging for younger entrepreneurs. Many past Young EDGE winners and finalists have returned in subsequent rounds of the competition to compete in the Scottish EDGE final for grant and loan funding of up to £100,000.
